The municipality is in the Capitale-Nationale zone, meaning it is currently in an orange zone.

Those regions in this alert have a curfew from 9:30 p.m., however, gathering with people outside of the household is still prohibited.

The officer went on to say that 36 tickets of $1,550 were issued for gathering despite restrictions.

14 additional tickets were given for other infractions, including "insulting police officers" and preventing them from conducting the investigation.

The entire process took until 3 a.m., to conduct the investigation and to issue all of the tickets, according to Tremblay.
