But, alas, these Valentine's Day e-cards that the Société de transport de Montreal posted to its IG stories have us convinced that Montreal public transit could be the very thing that helps you woo your crush this year. 

The STM also did a social media call-out asking Instagram followers to submit their own lovey-dovey STM puns, and the answers are just too good. Try them out on someone you care for — a true Montreal love story in the making!

Perfect for lockdown love, this one reads, "Far from my eyes, close to my Jolicoeur" — a reference to the Sud-Ouest metro stop and a play on the word "coeur" or "heart."
