Legault Wants Montreal To Have A Parade If The Habs Win The Stanley Cup

After the Montreal Canadiens won Game 2 against the Winnipeg Jets on Friday, Premier François Legault tweeted that he hopes for a parade if the Habs win the Stanley Cup and "if Dr. Arruda is willing."

"And that's 6! [...] 10 more to go for the Cup... and the parade... if Dr. Arruda is willing...," Legault wrote.

Before the game, Legault wrote that winning is "the best way to avenge Jake Evans." Evans was hit violently by Jets player Mark Scheifele who has since been suspended for four games.

The last time the Montreal Canadiens won the Cup was in 1993 against the Los Angeles Kings.

The Habs are currently leading their second playoff series 2-0.

The team needs just 10 more wins to claim the Cup.
