The Canadiens Shot Down False Rumours That More People Will Be Allowed In The Bell Centre
In an Instagram post, the Montreal Canadiens shot down social media rumours that public health authorities would allow for an increased capacity at the Bell Centre for the Stanley Cup Final.
The team seemed to be referring to tweets suggesting that as many as 10,500 people would be allowed in the arena.

TVA reports that Ewan Sauves, a spokesperson for Quebec Premier François Legault, has also denied the rumours.
"Regarding the increase in the number of spectators at the Bell Centre for the Stanley Cup Final, the Montreal Canadiens organization is continuing discussion with the authorities, and does not in any way confirm the rumors recently circulating on social media of an agreement between the two parties," the team's Instagram post reads.
In other news, Montreal Mayor Valérie Plante said her administration has been evaluating the possibility of setting up outdoor screenings of the Stanley Cup Final.
