Discovering la belle province is something I believe every Quebecers should try to do. We're surrounded by tons of unique spots that all deserve to be explored. So, to help you know where these cool spots are, we've created a list of places to see in Quebec that'll make you think you're somewhere entirely new.
I always knew Quebec was an amazing province, but after discovering some of these spots firsthand, I was left in awe at just how lovely our land truly is.
Travelling is something I've always been passionate about and the past few years I've realized that I don't need to leave the province to have a trip of a lifetime.
Our spectacular province has so much to offer. From historic churches to breathtaking beaches, our province is swimming in gorgeous areas to visit that'll leave you wondering where in the world you are!
So for anyone who has been bit by the travel bug, pack your bags and head on over to one of these phenomenal destinations. I promise they'll all have you screaming "Vive le Quebec."
Plage de la Grande Échouerie
Distance from Montreal: 19 hours and 30 minutes
The Plage de la Grande Échouerie, which is found in the Îles de la Madeleine, is a far-flung oceanside paradise with wide sandy plains and red rock cliffs that dive dramatically into the sea.
Those not into to take the long drive and ferry can also get there by plane.
Trust me, it's worth the trip.
Percé Bonaventure Island
Distance from Montreal: 10 hours and 20 minutes
This island in Percé, Quebec has some of the most natural beauty in the entire province. So, it's definitely worth a visit.

Saying that this location is beautiful would be a total understatement. From museums and restaurants to sites and adventures, this Quebec location is full of incredible things to do and see.
Saguenay Fjord National Park
Distance from Montreal: 5 hours and 30 minutes
The Saguenay Fjord will give you the illusion of being on the other side of the world when in reality you'll still be right here, in Quebec.
Réserve de Parc National de l'Archipel-de-Mingan
Distance from Montreal: 13 hours
Mingan National Park will provide you with some of the most incredible views you will ever lay your eyes on. The gorgeous scenery reminds me of being somewhere in Europe.

This Europeanesque church simply oozes beauty.
Distance from Montreal: 4 hours
This quiet beach will give you a ton of peace and serenity from the moment your feet touch the sand.
La Seigneurie de l'Île d'Orléans
Distance from Montreal: 3 hours and 15 minutes
These majestic gardens will give you the illusion of walking through a French Medieval garden, which is ideal for anyone seeking an escape.
Plaisance National Park
Distance from Montreal: 1 hour and 40 minutes
This gorgeous national park is home to a picturesque waterfall. And, if you want to go on a no-too-strenuous hike, this one-kilometre hike is ideal for you.
Saint Raphael Ruins
Distance from Montreal: 1 hour and 30 minutes
The Saint Raphael Ruins may not be in Quebec like the rest of the places on this list, but they're only a 90-minute drive from the city but it will make you feel like you're in a totally different country.*

This quaint town is known for its stunning views and charming surrounding that will instantly impress you.
The small-town vibe will make you feel as though you're a far way from Montreal!

For those of you craving a tropical escape, without wanting to actually get on a plane, you'll be happy to know that Plage St-Zotique will leave you feeling like you're in Cuba.
Chute de la Rivière aux Émeraudes
Distance from Montreal: 10 hours
This emerald river is truly what vacation dreams are made of.
The gorgeous water that you can swim in combined with the breathtaking views have allowed visitors to be in absolute awe of this location.

Parc National des Grands-Jardins In Charlevoix
Distance from Montreal: 4 hours
If you're someone who loves epic views and a ton of nature, then you're going to want to check Parc National des Grands-Jardins out. You won't regret it!
