On Monday, September 14 around 5 p.m., a van with an "ÉCOLIERS" sign on the top of it crashed into a Montreal Couche-Tard found on the corner of Sauvé / Papineau.

In videos shared with MTL Blog of the aftermath of the incident, you can see glass shattered all over the van, which had driven right through the door of the depanneur.

Police were called shortly after the crash occurred.

When asked if anyone was hurt in the midst of the incident, the manager Mehdi said that one of his employees received a "minor injury from the glass" smashing into the store, but that they're okay.

The store remains open to clients for the time being, but they must get in through the McDonald's entrance until the front door is fully repaired.
