6 Hidden Gems On Montreal’s South Shore That Are Actually Worth Crossing A Bridge

Perfect for a last minute adventure!
Contributing Writer

Us locals love staying in our little Montreal bubble, but sometimes a little escape from the city does one a world of good. Even just a trip over a bridge lets you discover new things! Montreal's South Shore doesn't have full geographic boundaries, but in short, is made up of towns like Boucherville, Sainte-Julie, Verchères, Beloeil, Chambly, Mont-St-Hilaire, Longueuil, Brossard, Saint-Hubert, Saint-Lambert, Candiac, Châteauguay, Delson, La Prairie, among others.

So yes, it's quite large. And more space means more things to explore.

And explore you shall. Between parks, museums and the cutest cafés, there's so much to see and do on the South Shore.

Because it's so big, you can head to the farthest corners of the area. But you can also stay closer to the city and not even have to go that far.

Perfect for a spontaneous getaway.

It's also got great stuff to do in all seasons. So you'll definitely find yourself going back to find something new throughout the year.

Besides, you never know what you'll find every time you go. Not to worry, though. Every trip across the bridge is totally worth it.
