Get Ready For A HUMID Weekend In Montreal — There's Even A Heat Warning Issued

Looks like summer decided to show up after all.

Contributing Writer

Make sure to bring a water bottle with you this weekend because Environment Canada has issued a heat warning for Montreal for Thursday, expected to last until Monday. Montrealers can expect a "warm and humid air mass" for the next few days.

"It will be particularly hot on Friday and Saturday with daytime highs exceeding 30 degrees Celsius and humidex values reaching 40," Environment Canada warned.

Nighttime is expected to be rather unpleasant too — unless you like humidity — with temperatures around 20 degrees until Tuesday morning.

Such high temperatures can be especially dangerous for the elderly, young kids, pregnant women, people with chronic illnesses and people working or exercising outdoors.

It's important to stay hydrated during this time. But hey, at least we're finally getting some real summer temperatures, right?
