A Montrealer Was Nominated For 'Best New Artist' At The 2021 Grammy Awards
Kaytranada, one of Montreal's most loved artists, was just nominated for "Best New Artist" for the 2021 Grammy Awards.
This award "recognizes an artist whose eligibility-year release(s) achieved a breakthrough into the public consciousness and notably impacted the musical landscape."
Other nominees for this category include Ingrid Andress, Phoebe Bridgers, Chika, Noah Cyrus, D Smoke, Doja Cat, and Megan Thee Stallion.

And it doesn't stop there.
Kaytranada's BUBBA was also nominated for "Best Dance/Electronic Album" and his song "10%" featuring Kali Uchis is in the running for the Grammy's 2021 "Best Dance Recording" award.
Kaytranada shared the news with his Instagram followers, referring to the experience of being nominated for not one, but three Grammys as "SURREAL..."
