Between the cold, the snow and the curfew, it can be hard to find the motivation to go for a walk around the block. But one local company, MFLEURS, is giving you a reason to wander through the city: to find a free rose!

MFLEURS is one of Montreal's most popular florists. And, the company confirmed with MTL Blog that it has decided to hide 500 "emergency cases" of eternal roses around the city for you to find and use to declare your love.

That's right, the company that's known for its eternal rose boxes has found another way to help people spread the love.

I know many people are hesitant to just take something off from the street, but just know, you're not stealing. MFLEURS is simply looking to give the gift of love this year for Valentine's Day.

From now until February 14, keep your eyes peeled for red boxes around the city that read "In case of love at first sight, break glass." The company will be sharing hints as to where these boxes are hidden on its Instagram.

Each emergency box includes one eternal rose, which will last you a full year.

The beauty of these eternal roses is that they don't even require water. You just need to find a spot for them in your home and let their beauty radiate.

So, if you see a red box on your next walk, don't forget to break the glass and give the rose to someone special.
