Anytime you make it to the big leagues, it can be a little daunting. But not for Montreal's own Karim Mané, who not only scored his first two NBA points of his career but helped his team take the victory. It was nothing but net.

Mané only being on the court for four minutes in the last quarter didn't stop him from contributing to Orlando Magic's 105-94 win against the Cleveland Cavaliers, after he successfully hit two free throws.

Editor's Choice: Here Are The New Measures For Quebec Schools & Students

At just 20 years old, the young athlete has already had a pretty impressive career so far, with accolades including winning the Quebec Student Sports Federation (RSEQ) title twice and being selected for Team Canada in the FIBA U19 World Championships.

It was there that he started gaining attention, ranking as a top contender on draft sites, like Rivals.com and 247Sports. Eventually, he was drafted straight out of Vanier College.

Mané was born in Dakar, Senegal and moved with his family to Montreal when he was seven years old.

Just a few months ago on November 27, 2020, he signed a two-way contract with the Orlando Magic and the Lakeland Magic.

We're sure this isn't the last we'll be hearing of our hometown star.

Way to go, Karim. Your city is so proud of you!
