Montreal's Magical Winter Gardens Are Open For One Final Weekend

Your last chance to soak up that festive holiday spirit!
Senior Writer

When Christmas and New Year's end, it can feel like a major letdown. But you still have one last chance to take in the festive spirit of the holiday season: Montreal's Winter Gardens, aka Jardins d'Hiver, are open until Sunday.

The event is described on its website as, "a little treasure hidden in the heart of the Quartier des spectacles and Place des Arts, which invites discovery, in a magical and luminous fairy-tale journey."

It features colourful decor, bright lights, and gourmet food stations.

The site is open 24/7, but to chow down on the yummy eats you'll have to go between noon and 9 p.m.

You can also let your inner child run loose when you see "three favourite floats from Montreal’s Santa Claus Parade: the toy workshop, the post office and the ever-popular Santa’s sleigh."

If you're not totally done with the holidays just yet and are looking for a way to ween yourself off that sweet sweet festive spirit, or you're simply hoping to start 2021 with good vibes and fun times, then a visit to the Winter Gardens could be just what you need in your life this weekend.
