A Super Nostalgic Video Game Concert Is Coming To Montreal This Month

With music from Super Mario 64, Zelda, Halo, and more!

If you're a big fan of videogame soundtracks, you're going to love OPENWORLD: Video Game Music Live in Concert, a performance coming to Montreal and Laval this month.

The concert "features exciting arrangements of video game music for a chamber ensemble of 10 world-class musicians, performing music from series and titles such as Halo, Super Mario 64, The Legend of Zelda, Sonic, Assassin's Creed, and many others."

It's said to be for people of all ages and will be "a memorable afternoon of nostalgia with selections ranging from '90s classics to your favorite recent releases."

Four different shows will take place. Two on May 23 at Laval's Salle André-Mathieu at 3 p.m. and 6 p.m., and two on May 30 at Montreal's Maison Symphonique at 2 p.m. and 5 p.m.
