Part Of The Orange Line Is Shut Down Due To An Intervention By Emergency Medical Services

Service is expected to resume before noon.

The Montreal metro orange line is shut down for the next while between Côte-Vertu and Berri-UQAM stations, according to a tweet from the STM.

UPDATE: Normal service has resumed as of 11:33 a.m.

Due to an intervention by emergency medical services, the metro was stopped at around 10:40 am on Wednesday morning.

Service is expected to resume at 11:40 a.m.

This marks the second service delay since Sunday when a shutdown affected parts of the green line. 

The STM has established a special bus service along the shutdown route.
