Montrealers Can Now Use Uber To Get Groceries Delivered Right To Their Doors

Uber grocery delivery service is officially launched in Montreal as of today, with hopes to get the service to more Canadian cities in the near future, according to an Uber spokesperson. 

In an official announcement made on July 7, the company has made the next step into the grocery sector after watching grocery delivery go from a trend to "often a necessity."

This is another step towards our vision of bringing you closer to the things you need, all in one place.

Working with Cornershop, the company will serve customers in select cities with either the Uber or Uber Eats apps. 

Like a regular Uber or Uber Eats meal, you can place your order and track its whereabouts. 

The company is committed to the health and safety of its employees, customers and partners and expects grocery delivery to continue to be a viable option to "save time and stay safe."
