Dreaming of an escape to the Mediterranean or to Tulum in Mexico? All you have to do is head to Griffintown's New City Gas to experience Bazart, a new concept that brings culture, culinary creations and some well-deserved good vibes to Montreal.

I checked out the opening night of the experience and can honestly say it was one of the coolest things I've done in the city.

You can forget all of the rules you've heard against drinking in public this Saturday because, for the fourth year in a row, Fleury Street West will be hosting a "bring your own wine" banquet. From 1pm-10pm Clark to Tolhurst will be closed off to cars and replaced with a Mediterranean themed party.

So what exactly does a Mediterranean themed bring your own wine banquet entail? Well, there will be tons of food, live Portuguese music, theatre performances, dancing, and plenty of games. Oh and folk singer Danny Placard will be performing in the evening at the corner of Esplanade and Fleury. It's sure to be a great way to spend your Saturday.
