Any seafood or cocktail lover in Montreal is going to absolutely adore the new Restaurant Sauvage in the city.

I tried the salmon tartare as an appetizer and the grilled octopus with pesto hummus as my main dish. I am not kidding when I say both were unbelievably delicious. The different fish in both dishes were extremely fresh as if they had just been caught from the Mediterranean Sea. Basically a little culinary trip for your taste buds.

I also got to taste some of my friend's grilled salmon and rapini and it was a solid 10/10.

Don't even get me started on how delicious the cheese platter entrée was... A selection of different cheeses, including burrata and baked mozzarella, are brought on a plate and the mozzarella is lit on fire. A snack and a show all in one.

If ever you're looking for a new terrasse to get drinks at, this spot also makes unreal cocktails.

Sauvage's general manager, Moe Chenouni, said, "through our Mediterranean-inspired décor, menu and cocktails, we aim to provide an out-of-this-world experience for our clientele." Well, believe me when I say the restaurant does exactly what it hoped for.
