Montreal-born tennis star Félix Auger-Aliassime just defeated his "idol," the legendary Roger Federer in their first-ever competitive match at the Noventi Open in Germany.Â
The 20-year-old rising tennis star pulled off a major upset on the 39-year-old legend, defeating him 4-6, 6-3, and 6-2 in the second round of the tournament on Wednesday.Â

Auger-Aliassime seemed ecstatic after defeating Federer and people heaped praise on the lad on social media.Â
According to his bio on the ATP website, Auger-Aliassime in 2019 became the youngest tennis player to be in the top 25 in the world in 20 years. While he hasn't won a grand slam title (yet), he's well on his way to becoming a star.Â
He is currently ranked 21st in the world. Auger-Aliassime will continue his title bid at the Noventi Open in the next round.Â
