Summer is gearing up to be a festival-filled season in Montreal and foodies can officially add a Vietnamese street food festival to their things-to-do list.

Chợ Đêm MTL is returning for its second edition this summer at Montreal's Bassin Peel where Vietnamese culture will be on full display. The food festival will run along the waterfront of the Lachine Canal and include eating stations, live performances of both modern and folk songs and dance, V-pop, Vietnamese martial arts and more.

Dozens of street food vendors will take to the Quai de l'Horloge in the Montreal Old Port once again this year for the third edition of the Festival StreetFood Montréal. Details are few so far. The festival dates aren't even out yet. But the festival is on the Montreal Old Port summer calendar and its website promises a four-day return in July.

Online, organizers bill the event as a celebration of Montreal's "vibrant culinary culture."
