We're finally entering the twilight months of 2020. But despite it all, there are still adventures to be had this fall in Quebec. At the top of the list: the flying bikes at Au Diable Vert, a farm, campsite, and nature park in the Eastern Townships.
The "VéloVolant" takes riders on a "1,000-meter circuit [...] along the mountain, through ravines, over waterfalls" and even "allows you to enjoy spectacular views of Vermont's Green Mountains."

"Suspended" among "century-old maple and pine trees," bikers can move at their own speed to enjoy the up-close views of the foliage.
With just a thin metal contraption cradling you in the canopy, you'll feel like you're soaring through the leaves like an autumnal nymph.
But that also means that this activity is not for the faint of heart. Au Diable Vert makes clear that "if you are afraid of heights (even just a little), this activity is NOT for you."
There are some height and weight restrictions, too.
Riders need to be "at least" 140 centimetres tall to reach the pedals and have enough stamina to continuously move their legs for the duration of the experience — about 45 minutes.
220 pounds is the maximum allowed on the bikes.
The VéloVolant activity costs $50 for adults, but those camping or staying at one of the Au Diable Vert cabins enjoy savings of 20%, according to the website.
