Montreal is amazing in so many ways, but we all need to take time away from the city every now and again. So, next time you want to go on an adventure, instead of checking out the "typical" areas in our province, why not go explore one of the small towns in Quebec? There's a good chance that you haven't even heard of most of the places on this list.

The great thing about Quebec is that there are so many locations that are fantastic for an escape and don't require you to travel too far.

Some of the spots are ideal for a day trip, while other places require you to drive a little further, making them great for a weekend or week escape from the city

Exploring Quebec has become one of my favourite things to do, especially on hot summer days and of course, weekends when I'm looking to go on an adventure.

The beauty of our province goes beyond the common spots like Quebec City and Mont Tremblant, which is why the following spots are worth exploring during your next road trip.
