This Quebec National Park Looks More Like One Of The Islands Of Tahiti (PHOTOS)

White sand, clear blue waters, a horizon that seems to go on forever. You're probably thinking of some faraway beach on the other side of the world, like Tahiti or Fiji. But what if I told you that there was a place like that right here in Quebec? Well, there is, and its name is Parc national du Bic.

You read that correctly — it's right in our own backyard.

This national park is just over five hours from Montreal, but it's totally worth it when you see these views.

While you may want to say sea the views, it's actually not a sea. It's not even the Atlantic Ocean — not yet anyway.

The park is actually located along the St. Lawrence River estuary, just before reaching the ocean. Yep, the same river that's here in Montreal, if you can believe it.

And because it's so close to the ocean, you get that crisp ocean breeze as you make your way through the gorgeous terrain.

Don't be surprised if you even see seals on the shore. You'll see some impressive wildlife and greenery, too.

Covering over 30 kilometres of capes, bays, coves, islands and mountains, the park feels as endless as the water and there's more to see and discover at every turn.

Being such an idyllic location, it's a great spot for hiking, swimming, kayaking and a wide range of activities.

Plus, there are campsites and cabins on the grounds because we know you're not gonna want to leave.

And although it feels like you're in the South Pacific, it's definitely cheaper than a flight. Just $9 gets you a day pass.

So about the same price as a water bottle at the airport.

The park is just one of the many amazing and surprising places here in Quebec, but the beauty of having such a beautiful province is that there's always more to see and do.
