In all the garages and basements across Montreal, there are undoubtedly thousands of bright, fun and quirky pool floaties that are doomed to go unadmired and uncelebrated this summer.

If you've got a happy flamingo, a giant pineapple, a unicorn, or something else completely, this free party at ROYALMOUNT's Urban Park is your chance to show it off as you dance away to an epic free set by Montreal's DJ Forrest.

This BYOF (Bring Your Own Floatie) shindig is a poolside-inspired dance party, no water required, that's perfect for kicking off your Saturday night this weekend. In the open air at the Urban Park, you can boogie from 4-7 p.m. and enjoy coffee, drinks and snacks from local vendors.

While you groove to DJ Forrest, the Montreal artist who has lit up dance floors around the world, you can soak up the immersive decorations, art and unmatched summer vibes. The event is free, but you must RSVP on their Eventbrite page.

Whether you take your beloved floatie on the Metro (hop off at De La Savane and take the ROYALMOUNT covered skybridge over Decarie) or drive and take advantage of the four hours of free parking, this summery outing is an unreal way to show off your best floatie, start your Saturday on the right foot, and celebrate some homegrown artistic talent.
