A Quebec restaurant just scooped second place in Yelp's Top 100 Places to Eat in Canada for 2024. While Montreal got its fair share of recognition in the national food fight, great eats in the province aren't limited to the big city. In fact, half a dozen other Quebec restaurants placed in the ranking.
Yelp's data science team compiled finalists based on popularity and ratings. Then, community managers and a trend expert weighed in, refining the list to ensure it highlighted both well- and lesser-known spots.

Buvette Scott

Fresh oysters are served with a unique granité and lemon twist ($20/$34). The salmon gravlax ($17) is well-balanced dish with celeriac, cream cheese, and pickles. The squash dish ($21) combines duck ham, egg, and onion confit, creating a unique flavour profile. The terrine foie gras ($22) is a luxurious option, featuring peach, brioche, and mustard.
BEClub Bistro-Bar

Reason to go: Ranked 29th in the country, this bistro-style restaurant in Quebec offers a varied menu including sandwiches, poutines, grillades, salads, comfort food, and smoked meat, along with a cocktail and wine bar.
