With Premier François Legault telling us that the provincial government is forbidding holiday gatherings in red zones this year, locals have started to get creative with their Christmas plans in Quebec.

The list of things places you can go right now are rather limited, but we know Costco has always got our backs.

PARTY DE NOËL AU COSCTO DANS L'ALLÉE 6 | Facebook

The hilarious event details read "CHRISTMAS EVE PARTY IN AISLE 6 AT COSCTO. NO NEED TO TELL YOU IT'S BYOB. SMOKING SECTION 2 AISLES FURTHER SO AISLE 8."

We're also told that this Aisle 6 party is planned for all Quebec Costcos.

If you're sitting there thinking "well that's is a terrible idea," there's no need to worry, the event creators made sure to clarify at the end of their message that "it's a joke."

But joke or not, the event has gathered a ton of traction online.

At the time of writing this article, 23.1k people marked themselves "interested" on the event and over 10k said they would be attending.
