Quebec Saw The Smallest Daily Increase In COVID-19 Cases In Nearly 3 Weeks Today
A certain downward trend has been observed during the last few days with respect to COVID-19 in Quebec. The October 13 report shows 815 new cases in the province, the smallest increase in nearly three weeks.
According to updated data from the Institut national de santé publique du Québec (INSPQ), we have to go back to September 25 to see such a low toll, when 733 cases were confirmed.
As of Monday, October 12, 843 new cases have been confirmed. Moreover, since October 8, these figures have only been decreasing day after day.

New COVID-19 Cases In Quebec
In addition to these 815 cases, there were three deaths in the last day and two deaths between October 6 and 11, bringing the total number of deaths in Quebec from coronavirus since the beginning of the pandemic to 5,970.
Hospitalizations have increased by 11 to 468, including 85 in intensive care.
A total of 87,791 people have been infected with the virus since this spring in Quebec.
The Minister of Health and Social Services, Christian Dubé, expressed himself on Twitter regarding this relatively positive trend.
"Although the number of cases seems to be stabilizing for the moment, we must remain cautious and continue to monitor public health measures. We must not let up in our efforts to break the wave," he said.
