We all know Saint-Viateur. But it's not just the name of one of Montreal's most famous bagel places, it's also a street in the Mile-End that has some incredible cafés and restaurants for other culinary delights.

Once a relatively quiet street compared to more well-known spots in the city, like Sherbrooke, Saint-Catherine and Saint-Laurent, this small strip was mainly known for the bagel spot that started it all.

Now it's one of the hippest and most happening places on the island.

Every time you go, you'll find a new place to check out and will have you saying "Let's go back to Saint-Viateur!"

Here are eight spots to help get you started...
