And it tastes like it, too.

The only thing better than getting a great cup of coffee is pairing it with the most beautiful treats. And you can do exactly that at this gorgeous café in Westmount, Café Bazin. Named after owner and distinguished pastry chef, Bertrand Bazin, it's is more than just a café in his name, it's a place of love and passion.

No different than the French capital, itself.

Since opening in 2017, it has become one of the most popular spots in Westmount for its menu and the entire experience.

According to the Facebook page (translated from French), Café Bazin is "A mix between a pastry shop, a café and a French bistro."

And when you go, you'll understand exactly what they mean.

The decor is sleek and modern with an air of sophistication that you think of when you think of a trip to Paris.

But it's also incredibly warm and inviting and makes for the perfect place to lose time sipping coffee and daydreaming.

The breakfast and lunch menus are incredible, with light, but satisfying dishes that'll leave you wanting more.

And trust me, you'll want to leave room for desserts because not only are they like little works of art, but they're also delicious.

I mean, I knew the French were known for their dessert, but I didn't know they would be breathtaking, too.

Everything from tarts to brownies to pastries to cakes, the only thing harder than deciding what to get is deciding what to do after you've had that last bite.

And if you chose to get another, I wouldn't blame you.

You can also pick up larger portions because your friends are family are obviously going to want some, too.

As for coffee, they have everything you need and more for your caffeine-fix and for those times your cup of coffee is also your little piece of heaven for the day.

Next time I'm daydreaming of Paris, you'll know where to find me...

Café Bazin

Address: 380, ave. Victoria, Westmount, QC

Why You Need To Go: For pastries and desserts that are as dreamy as the decor!
