After two weeks of quarantine in her downtown accommodations, Halle Berry is officially out in Montreal to begin work on Moonfall, a sci-fi thriller directed by Roland Emmerich.

The Oscar-winning actor took to Instagram to share some behind-the-scenes pics.

Emmerich also confirmed the launch of Moonfall production in an Instagram post.

The first of Berry's Insta story posts shows her with makeup artist Norma Patton-Lowin, who reshared the post on her personal page.

"BTS In the Makeup Trailer again," Patton-Lowin wrote.

"Working in this 'Covid world' being on a film set seems to be one of the safest places to be (except maybe a hospital surgery!) as we have very strict protocols in place!"

Berry captioned the photo, "3000% done."

It's unclear if Berry's Moonfall co-stars Patrick Wilson and Stanley Tucci are also in Montreal. Neither appears to have posted updates to their Instagram pages.

According to ACTRA, Moonfall is set to wrap up at the end of January.
