Dr. Arruda Has Confirmed 'We Are In The Second Wave'

On Monday, Dr. Horacio Arruda confirmed that Quebec has entered the second wave of COVID-19

Quebec reported 586 cases on Monday.

The national public health director said he was "very very concerned" about the recent increase.

Arruda stressed the need to follow all the rules and respect the instructions of the health authorities. 

"If we don't make efforts, [the second wave] has the potential to be even larger than the first one," said Dr. Arruda. 

On Sunday, Montreal, Chaudière-Appalaches and parts of the Capitale-Nationale went into "orange alert" based on the province's COVID-19 alert system.
