A big shout out to Mary who asked for these donations instead of a birthday gift on her 12th birthday! ❤️ A post shared by No Better you (@nobetteryou) on Dec 3, 2019 at 11:16am PST\n\nAs a special education teacher, I realized there were a lot of sensory items and educational tools that were needed to successfully teach students.\nDue to a lack of funding, teachers often find themselves purchasing what's needed out of their own pockets.\nThe idea behind No Better You is to help alleviate that stress for both teachers and students and create a safe space where students at all levels can not only learn but thrive!\nWhen I was younger, I always wanted to give back. I knew I would love to create a non-profit of my own some day, but didn't know how to go about doing it, so I sponsored a little girl from Cambodia for 6 years through World Vision.\nYears later, my dream of starting my own non-profit came true!\n\nWhat's it like getting engaged and planning a wedding during a pandemic?\n View this post on Instagram August 9th, 2020 will forever be my favourite DAY OF MY LIFE!!!!!!!!!!! @jbrwolfe YOU ARE MY EVERYTHING AND I CANNOT WAIT TO BE FOREVER AND EVER WITH YOU!!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️#engaged A post shared by Vanessa Grimaldi | MTL (@vanessagrimaldi30) on Aug 10, 2020 at 10:50am PDT\n\nCOVID taught me to go back to basics.\nTo enjoy the little moments with friends and family and not take my health or that of those I love for granted. Getting engaged during the pandemic brought Josh and I, and our families much needed joy.\nUnfortunately, with the health regulations that are constantly changing, it's difficult to say when we will get married. We haven't picked a date, but I hope to get married in 2021!\n\nWhat would you want our readers to know about you that they wouldn't be able to guess from your online persona?\n View this post on Instagram Rediscovering Montreal. That’s my goal this summer! With the current travel restrictions, I’ve decided to make a checklist of restaurants, hotels, parks, new businesses, local shops, entertainment, nonprofits that I want to discover. I lived in Old Montreal for a little over a year and never went to this local pizzeria. I was either travelling to different countries or hibernating during the winter. Now is the time we can collectively help one another in our own communities! Support local businesses, discover new neighborhoods, and make new friends. I’d love to know which city you are from. But it's not easy to capture those in the moment.\nI am also very sensitive, that's why we should try not to judge or compare ourselves to others.\nWhat you see on TV, in magazines and in social media is a glimpse into someone's life, but rarely the full picture.\nYou see what they want you to see and nothing else!
