Quebec is filled with thousands of magical spots that so few people tend to know about — and la plage de Baie-Saint-Paul is one of them.

Less than a four-hour drive from Montreal, this little beach in the Charlevoix region provides spectacular views of our province, as it overlooks the St. Lawrence River and some lovely mountains.

And it's hands down one of the best places to sit and watch the sunset (or sunrise, if you wake up early enough).

While there, you'll find picnic areas, a wooded area to walk along, a large dock and sand dunes. Basically everything you need for a sweet summer day.

Plus, access to the beach and parking are both free at all times for visitors.
