As thousands of people — from car aficionados to celebrities — descend upon Montreal, the city will play host not only to motor races, but to themed parties, red carpet events, family activities, brand activations and more.
Whether you're a fan of F1 or not, you can still enjoy the many F1 events in Montreal that'll take over the city during Grand Prix weekend from June 6 to 9 (though some things start earlier). CINQ@SEPT Édition Mirage, Grand Prix at Améa Café

Why You Need To Go: Nestled inside Montreal's historic Maison Alcan building, you won't want to miss the F1 edition of Améa Café's CINQ@SEPT series, featuring a special Grand Prix menu of cocktails, appetizers and caviar donuts as well as the musical stylings of DJ Laura Scavo. Why You Need To Go: As it has every year since 1999, rue Crescent is set to transform into a pedestrian-only hotspot for racing enthusiasts and festival-goers alike. From live performances and DJ sets to race-car driver appearances, racing simulators, car exhibitions, and nightly stage shows, Crescent is the place to be if you want to immerse yourself in everything Grand Prix weekend has to offer.

Formula Peel Street Party

Why You Need To Go: Each year, the Peel Street Merchant’s Association organizes one of the festival's best known events: the Formula Peel Street Party, which around 400,000 people flock to for its blend of luxury cars, music, fine dining, and fashion.
UPDATE: Note that, this year, there is no Peel Paddock due to construction.
The Pit Stop at Centre Eaton de Montréal

Why You Need To Go: The Montreal Eaton Centre's Pit Stop is an excellent place for... you guessed it... a pit stop. Here, you can get behind the wheel and put your driving skills to the test using a Formula 1 racing simulator. But that's just one of many activities available at this dedicated space for F1 fans, located in one of downtown Montreal's main shopping malls.

Why You Need To Go: Time Out Market is taking its gourmet food hall into overdrive in honour of Formula 1 with a selection of signature cocktails, beer promos, tastings, DJs and an exciting contest opportunity for folks who love to travel.
From June 3 to 9, Peroni will take over the market's beer bar so you pair Italy's most popular beer with meals from the various concession stands. Peroni will also be offering tastings of its non-alcoholic beers from Thursday to Saturday, and hosting a contest that gives you the chance to win a trip to Milan by scanning a QR code. Meanwhile, the cocktail bar will showcase colourful beverages created in collaboration with Quebec distillery Mariana.
From June 6th to 9th, DJs Truwayz (Thursday), Cece the Red (Friday) and Pøptrt (Saturday) will turn the vibe up a notch to party mode during the market's musical and festive evenings in celebration of the Grand Prix.

Why You Need To Go: With a red carpet entrance and luxurious ambiance, Maxim's iconic annual party is your chance to live the high life —and maybe even rub shoulders with a famous person or two. Headlined by hip hop superstar French Montana, there will also be a performance by electrifying DJ duo NERVO. Plus, fitness icon and social media sensation Sommer Ray will take the stage.
If it's celebrity sightings you're after, Karyzma PR Agency says the Maxim Grand Prix Party has "consistently drawn a constellation of stars," including Minka Kelly, Eugenie Bouchard, the NBA's Danny Green and Chris Boucher, the NHL's P.K. Subban and Cole Caufield, and former F1 driver Nicholas Latifi, among others.
Race Week at La Voûte Cabaret Nocturne

Why You Need To Go: Set in a 1920s bank vault, this enchanting cabaret supper club is hosting a four-day race week extravaganza with shows, performances and entertainment all weekend long. Why You Need To Go: Join high-profile guests and celebrities at the Sports Illustrated Circuit Series.This exclusive bash, at the intersection of sports and entertainment, "will capture the excitement of race weekend in Montreal with premier, notable attendees, and access to branded experiences, marquee moments, and the high-energy surrounding the most prestigious automobile races across North America," explains Sports Illustrated's ticket website. Why You Need To Go: New City Gas has a stacked four-day lineup to complement the F1 festivities. As the event space put it in an Instagram post, "It's all gas no brakes from here!" In addition to DJ sets by heavy hitters, including Kaskade, there's a free art exhibit called Arts + Cars by MBSJQ opening in the 0x Society art gallery on Thursday, June 6, which is described on the New City Gas Tixr website as "a kaleidoscope of surreal visions where motorsport meets the avant-garde." There will also be a live digital art auction taking place throughout the weekend with the highest bidder winning an exclusive NFT of the work.

Grand Prix evenings at Le Richmond

Why You Need To Go: For years, Le Richmond has hosted some of the best events at the Grand Prix de Montréal and 2024 should be no exception. The northern Italian restaurant in Griffintown is expected to be jam-packed with F1 fun — from a "welcome party" on Thursday to a "reunion party" on Friday to an open-bar red carpet gala in the garden on Saturday ($500).
"Le Richmond is transforming its award-winning summer terrace into a beautiful mansion indoor courtyard where you will be treated like royalty," the Griffintown restaurant wrote in an Instagram post about the red carpet party with DJ Eyesha and DJ Majess.
There's also an after-race party in the garden on Sunday.
Grand Prix Party 2024 at the Ritz-Carlton Montreal

Why You Need To Go: Travel back in time to an era in which Elvis, fluffed up hairdos and milkshakes reign supreme. The Ritz-Carlton's party, described on Eventbrite as "the city’s most-anticipated social event of the year," is almost here, as the iconic hotel transforms into a tribute to the 1950s — complete with decor, performances, fashion, food and drinks. There will be music by The Beatles Tribute, performances by L’Academie de Danse de Montreal and YDC Productions, curated lounges by sponsors Mercedes-Benz Canada and Christian Louboutin, and more. While the price is steep, at around $1,000 per person, proceeds from each ticket go to the Barry F. Lorenzetti Foundation, which raises funds to improve mental health care in Canada.
