Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos, who are both a married couple as well as the co-hosts of ABC's LIVE with Kelly and Mark, recently revealed that their son has a Montreal-related nickname — and the reason behind it is pretty spicy.

While bantering on-air during the morning talk show, Consuelos made the cheeky announcement, saying, "And one of our kids, his nickname is 'Made in Montreal.'"

Following laughter from the audience, he added, "Very good city."

Without looking up from her papers, Ripa joked that they wouldn't say which son. "But," she continued, "he's our youngest.... shoutout to Montreal."

The duo went on to explain that their son had been conceived in Montreal because they "went away without the kids" for their wedding anniversary after Consuelos' parents offered to look after them.

According to Newsweek, the pair has been married since 1996 and their youngest son Joaquin is now 21 years old.

While Montreal's sexiness needs no validation for those of us who live here, can someone please send this story over to sex toy company PinkCherry, which recently ranked Montreal ninth on its list of Canada's sexiest cities?

That said, as reporter Mike Chaar put it in his MTL Blog article on the topic, "While this might not seem like the best placement, Montreal's rank is actually a good thing. Considering the ranking is based on PinkCherry consumer purchases, this means Montrealers are likely living out their sexual desires with other Montrealers rather than toys — although who doesn't love a little extra fun once in a while?"
