The petition, which calls on "the media and Maripier's business partners to stop condemning her," has gathered more than 100,800 signatures at the time of writing.

"Although Maripier is not currently available, rest assured that we will pass on all your good words to him," the statement posted to Morin's Facebook page reads.

"Thank you for your support!"

Earlier this month, artist Safia Nolin accused Morin of sexual harassment and physical assault.

Following these remarks, Maripier apologized and withdrew all content from her Instagram account.

She also lost the majority of her professional contacts and her television programs were quickly taken off the air.
