There's a common misconception among gluten eaters that gluten-free food tastes weird and has no flavour. As a gluten eater myself, I'm here to tell you that that couldn't be further from the truth. In fact, some of Montreal's best gluten-free restaurants and bakeries are even better than their non-gluten-free counterparts. 

From desserts to pizza and even alcohol, there are gluten-free equivalents to almost everything you can eat. And honestly, most of us probably wouldn't be able to tell the difference.

Gluten-free food in Montreal has come a long way and has grown in popularity in recent years. Many of the city's famous restaurants have included gluten-free options in their menus and new restaurants specifically catered to gluten-free diets open every year. 

There's never been a better time to consider gluten-free food. Even if you don't have a gluten intolerance, there's no harm in eating gluten-free pasta. You know you want to try it.
