For the first time in history, three Montrealers played an NBA game on Sunday evening as the Toronto Raptors took on the Oklahoma City Thunder.

For the Thunder, Luguentz Dort, a native of Montreal-Nord, led his team with 29 points in a losing effort against Toronto. For the Raptors, Chris Boucher, also from Montreal-Nord, led the charge with 31 points, while Raptors newcomer Khem Birch had a decent outing with seven points and six rebounds.

Dort and Boucher have been excellent for their respective teams this season, with both players amongst the top point-scorers on their teams.

"I was definitely happy about this game," said Boucher in a post-game interview, "I wanted to put Montreal on the map a little bit, just to make people realize we have talent in Montreal."

"For kids in Montreal, in particular," he explained in French, "I think it's a good moment for them to realize that it's possible to make the NBA [...] I think Khem, me, and Lugentz, it shows there's talent here."
