72% Of Quebecers Are Satisfied With Legault's Management Of COVID-19, Says A New Survey

On October 19, Montreal-based marketing firm, Léger, released a survey on Canadians' attitudes toward the COVID-19 pandemic.

Despite the criticism often heard directed at the provincial government, the majority of Quebec respondents were satisfied with how Premier François Legault and the Coalition Avenir Québec have handled the pandemic.

When questioned on the measures the government has put in place to fight COVID-19, 72% of Quebec respondents said they were satisfied.

72% Quebec respondents satisfied with Legault's handling of COVID-19

Of the 72% who were satisfied with the Legault government, 26% were "very satisfied" and 46% were "somewhat satisfied."

Twenty-five percent of Quebec respondents said they were "dissatisfied" with the Legault government's actions to fight the coronavirus.

According to the survey, Legault is one of three leaders with the most satisfied consitituents, surpassed only by John Hogan of British Columbia (76%) and leaders in Atlantic Canada (84%).

Léger surveyed a representative sample of 1,512 Canadians.
