Photos Show A Huge Protest In Support Of Palestine Taking Place In Montreal Saturday

Demonstrations have been held around the world in recent days.

Some reports say hundreds, while others say thousands — either way, a huge group of protesters marched and drove through the streets of Montreal on Saturday in support of Palestine, as violence continued to escalate in Palestine and Israel.

According to Montreal police, demonstrators reached the area surrounding the Israeli consulate in Westmount around 1 p.m. before heading toward Dorchester Square.

People waved Palestinian flags and chanted "Free, Free Palestine."
