A 21-Year-Old Was Stabbed Near McGill Metro In Montreal Saturday Night

The victim was found inside the metro when police arrived.

The SPVM received a 911 call on Saturday evening around 9:45 p.m. about a 21-year-old who was stabbed in downtown Montreal near McGill metro.

According to SPVM spokesperson Jean-Pierre Brabant, the man "was stabbed in his upper body" and was found inside the metro when police arrived.

"We know for a fact that the man had an altercation with another man that escalated and at that point, that's where he got stabbed," Brabant told MTL Blog.

The victim was brought to a hospital and we're told there is no "fear for his life."

The SPVM confirmed that an investigation has taken place, but no arrests have been made yet in relation to the stabbing.
