This Cabane À Sucre Near Montreal Is THE Spot To Have A Colourful Fall Picnic (PHOTOS)
Summer 2020 was definitely the summer of picnics. But something tells me that picnics won't be ending any time soon. And if there's one place you need to go for a perfect fall picnic, it's Cabane d'à Côté over in Mirabel.

Less than an hour from the city, Cabane d'à Côté has everything that we've been looking for this year: peace, quiet and a chance to get outside and enjoy nature while we still can.
With everything going on this year, the farm-to-table restaurant and sugar shack thought there would be no better time to try and offer picnics — an idea they toyed with for years.
Open from Thursday to Sunday 12 p.m. to 8 p.m., not only can you come and enjoy the grounds, but the team will even pack you a picnic, with all of the passion and quality that we've come to know from Au Pied du Cochon.
Picnics are priced at $80 for two people before tax, and reservations should be made in advance.
Each month, the team comes up with the most incredible menu with products based on what's available on the land, plus items from Quebec and all over Canada.
Because keeping things local has never been so important.
You can also purchase wine or some homemade apple cider.
Plus, you can explore the grounds and see exactly where your food is being grown.
And you can only imagine it becomes just magical once the leaves start to change.
The idea has become so popular, that Vincent Dion-Lavallée, Chef and Owner of Cabane d'à Côté, told me that he would definitely consider bringing picnics back next year. Maybe even add some tents and some firepits.
"It was so fun for the guests and the staff - opening a restaurant in the woods was just so unique and so different," Vincent told MTL Blog.
"This is more than just a statement of farm-to-table, it's about staying true to ourselves."
