Potentially 'Dangerous Thunderstorms' With Hail Are In Montreal's Forecast For Tonight

Montreal and Southern Quebec are currently in a heatwave and heat advisory, but Environment Canada continues to update the developments of possible "dangerous thunderstorms capable of producing very strong wind gusts, large hail and torrential downpours this afternoon and evening."
After last week's mega-storm and Iasais swept the province, people all over Quebec recognize the potential dangers of a massive storm.

A "severe thunderstorm watch" was put into effect as of 11:19 a.m. on Tuesday, August 11 for the Montreal island area, along with three other Quebec regions.
Citizens are asked to keep an eye out for alerts and to avoid large bodies of water.
As for the heat, Quebecers are reminded to stay hydrated and to remain in cool areas.
