Former Habs player, P.K. Subban, shared some heartbreaking (or potentially exciting for some) news on December 29. He and his fiancée, Lindsey Vonn, "have decided to move forward separately" after three years together.

The hockey player and the former Olympic skier took to their Instagram pages to make the announcement, each posting the same selfie of the couple.

"Lindsey is one of the most kind and caring people I know. I will always treasure our time as a couple together and the many laughs we shared," Subban said in his post.

Vonn also shared a similar sentiment to her 2.1 million followers.

"He is a kind, good man, and someone I respect a great deal."

Both ended their posts in the same way.

"We will always remain friends and love each other immensely. We ask that you respect our privacy during this time."

So, here's to wishing the two individuals nothing but happiness!
