The 15-Year-Old Hit By A Car In Montreal Has Died

The SPVM is reporting that the 15-year-old girl struck by a car in Montreal's Pierrefonds-Roxboro has died.

The girl was struck at 8:30 a.m. Thursday morning on boulevard Lalande by a 59-year-old male driver. 

Jean-Pierre Brabant, an SPVM media relations officer, said that the unnamed teenager died in the hospital. 

Police are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision.

"It is the 15th deadly collision in Montreal" this year, according to the SPVM. 

Police will interview the driver in the next few days to determine what happened.
