This Montreal Café With Indoor Trees Is The Perfect Spot For Your Next Coffee Date

Even Shawn Mendes has been caught sipping on Pigeon coffee.
Reporter

One of the many amazing aspects of Montreal is how many unique cafés there are all around. Seriously, our city is stocked with them. One of my personal favourites has always been Pigeon. Located on avenue Monkland,* this espresso bar is known for serving up epic espresso that's bound to add a little zest into your morning.

Pigeon has two locations in the city, but currently, only the Monkland one is open. Pigeon employees always succeed in taking their customers on a decadent journey for their taste buds

From filtered coffee and lattes to hot chocolates and teas, Pigeon knows how to keep you coming back for more.

It definitely helps that it's in a very convenient area for anyone who lives or works on Monkland, plus that so many of us have a bit of a coffee addiction... We just don't all admit to it.

Not only does Pigeon have awesome caffeinated beverages that'll wake you right up, but there's also a nice selection of freshly baked goods for you to pick up throughout your busy day.

Plus, a colourful menu.

After one sip of Pigeon's coffee, you're most likely going to fall in love.

So, you'll be happy to know that they sell the original, decaf, and Colombian blend for you to take home with you — meaning you can turn your kitchen into one of the best cafés in all of Montreal.

There's even have to-go mugs for sale and have recently added masks that say "worst" to their repertoire of for sale items, making this spot even cooler.

The sign in the window may say "worst coffee in the world," but once you try it, you'll be reminded to not always believe everything you read.

And if you don't believe us, believe Shawn Mendes.

So, next time you're craving a really, really amazing cup of coffee, you know where to go.
