Café Aunja is the perfect spot to cross those items off your to-do list, whether it's writing up that budget report or studying for finals. This cozy café and tea house in the Golden Square Mile is so adorable that it'll actually make you excited to sit down and get to work.

Aunja translates to "there" in Farsi, and the café "is [a place] for you to spend time with your friends, study, relax."

Everybody knows that sitting down and getting to work can be tedious, but when you're surrounded by a place that inspires you to make things happen, anything is possible.

Open since 2013, it's become one of Montreal's most popular spots to relax among the hustle and bustle of the city.

Perfectly located near the downtown core and in the middle of lots of school campuses, you'll find lots of fellow-hard workers, fellow-tea drinkers and fellow-chillers.

The decor is bright and colourful and is a homage to Persian art and culture that is simply intricate while being exotically familiar and welcoming.

And the menu is just as impressive as the decor.

Being a teahouse, the list of teas will keep you coming back to try more and more, or maybe to have your favourite again.

Aunja specializes in herbal teas, tisanes, cold drinks, and pastries. Some of the most popular drinks are the Ginger Tea and the Persian Fog.

There's also a fantastic brunch menu, as well as sandwiches and salads.

There's even live music from time to time.

Reservations can be made on the weekends, but during the week, it's a first-come-first-serve basis.

And seeing how gorgeous it is, you're going to want to make sure you get a seat.

But even if you aren't studying or working, it's a great place just to sit and hang out. You could even host an event there.

Today's to-do list: Head to Café Aunja.
