A property in Senneville is the subject of Montreal Island's "highest single-family home sale" so far in 2021, the office of real estate broker Joseph Montanaro told MTL Blog.

The home — which sold for $8 million, according to the Montreal Gazette — has five bedrooms and five bathrooms.

"Generally, these properties can take very long to sell," Montanaro said in an interview with Global News.

"But relative to the price point, this was quite a quick sale," he told the media outlet.

While this might have been Montreal Islands's most expensive single-family home sale of 2021, it pales in comparison to the most expensive condo, which sold for $12.9 million in January — an all-time record for Quebec.
