The Bureau des enquêtes indépendantes (BEI) is investigating a tragic event that occurred in Brossard Thursday night. According to investigators, a naked man who ran onto the highway died after a collision with a vehicle.

An 11:43 p.m call first reported "a naked man on boulevard Marie-Victorin who appeared intoxicated" to Longueuil police (SPAL).

On July 16, at approximately 11:43 p.m., a call was reportedly made to SPAL concerning a naked man on boulevard Marie-Victorin who appeared intoxicated.

Police attempted to stop the man, who then "took Highway 132 and was struck by a vehicle around 11:50 p.m.," the BEI says.

"He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead."
