After months of anticipation, UNIQLO has finally unveiled the opening date of its first store in Quebec. The Montreal UNIQLO will be the Japanese company's largest store in Canada.

It will open in the Eaton Centre on October 23.

"We are pleased to open this new store in Montreal as part of the renewal of the Eaton Centre to make our high quality, functional and carefully designed LifeWear apparel accessible to more Canadians," Yuichiro Kaneko, CEO of UNIQLO Canada, said in a statement.

The Eaton Centre has undergone major renovations in the last few years, also welcoming French sportswear store Decathlon and the ultra-popular Time Out Market.

UNIQLO currently has 13 stores in Canada spread out across B.C., Alberta, and Ontario.
