Nicki Minaj was nearly 3 hours late for her Montreal concert at Centre Bell
It's Nicki's 'Barbie World' and we're all just living in it.

Nicki Minaj performed at Montreal's Centre Bell on Wednesday, April 17. However, the rapper didn't appear on stage until well past 11 p.m. — nearly three hours after the show was expected to begin.
Minaj, who is currently on her Pink Friday 2 World Tour, had Montreal fans worried following an hour of no news from the rapper. When the two-hour mark arrived and Minaj was still a no-show, ticketholders began posting news of the performer's tardiness on TikTok and Twitter.
While fans grew more and more concerned that Centre Bell would eventually cancel the show, despite it being a sold-out concert, Minaj was quick to clear things up online and confirm she would, in fact, be taking the stage.
Turns out, Minaj was late for reasons most of us could never relate to — her private plane service took off much later than anticipated.
"Today, we [Minaj and team] asked if we could leave at 1 p.m. They [the private jet] said no, we could leave at 3 p.m. Then they said that won’t work, we’d need to leave at 5 p.m.?!?!!!!! Yup. For a 9:30 p.m. show in Canada," Minaj wrote on X (formerly Twitter).
After boarding the plane, Minaj stated that they were forced to wait even longer for the plane to finish "fueling." Unfortunately, the setbacks didn't stop there.
Upon arrival to Canada, Minaj claimed that she underwent checks she didn't have to do during her last two visits, stating that customs began searching through her personal items.
Minaj said the sequence of events that took place leading up to her Montreal concert was "sabotage."
Minaj tweeted all of this out at 11:02 p.m., assuring fans she'd be on stage in "15 minutes."
The show was set to begin at 8:30 p.m. and Minaj finally made it on stage close to 11:30 p.m. Despite the delay, Minaj performed her full set and could not have enjoyed her time in Montreal more. "Gag City Montreal was absolutely perfect," Minaj wrote in another X post.
Fans took to the social media platform to share their thoughts, claiming that regardless of Minaj's punctuality, or lack thereof, the show was still a smash hit.
Thankfully Minaj will have a much easier start to her Toronto show tonight at the Scotiabank Arena now that she's customs cleared.
